Who Weโre Looking For
- Aspiring journalists, writers, bloggers, or students seeking industry experience
- Strong written English, storytelling, and research skills
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines without supervision
- Passion for impactful reporting and amplifying underrepresented voices
- Ability to pitch unique stories or follow editorial briefs
Your Responsibilities
- Research and write articles, features, and opinion pieces
- Pitch story ideas aligned with Strident Newsโ mission and tone
- Edit and proofread your work before submission
- Collaborate with our editorial team to refine your pieces
- Promote your articles on social media (optional but encouraged)
Important Note
This is an unpaid internship designed for portfolio development, professional growth, and exposure. Many of our interns have gone on to secure paid roles in journalism, communications, and digital media, armed with a strong body of published work.
